Returns and exchanges

  • What's your return and exchange policy?

    At Bash Buddy, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return policy carefully:

    For General Returns: If you’ve purchased items from Bash Buddy, you have a window of 10 days from the invoice date to initiate a return. To get started, simply send an email to sales@bashbuddy.com with your order number and details of the items you wish to return. Keep in mind that any items sent back without prior notification won’t be eligible for return.

    Return Conditions: All products must be returned in their original, unopened, and unused condition. For latex items, it’s essential to store them in the correct climate for the return to be accepted. Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the total, and the credited amount can be used on your next purchase. We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind returns.

    Specific Return Criteria: If it’s a change of mind regarding equipment, ensure it is in its original packaging with accessories for the return. Decorative structures for change of mind should be returned in their original condition, including protective film, wrapping, and cable ties.

    Seasonal Items: Change-of-mind returns for seasonal items will not be accepted once the seasonal period has ended, following the 10-day policy outlined above.

    Delivery Costs: Please be aware that any associated delivery costs to return your items will not be compensated by Bash Buddy.


    EXCHANGES

    At Bash Buddy, we do not offer direct exchanges. However, items can be returned as part of our change-of-mind return policy, as explained above. Once your return has been processed, and a store credit has been placed onto your account, you may then use your store credit to purchase your desired items.


    DAMAGED OR FAULTY PRODUCTS

    We understand that damaged or faulty products can occasionally occur, and we have specific guidelines in place for such situations:

    Decorator Goods (Foil and Latex Balloons): Claims for faulty decorator goods must be made within four weeks of delivery. Evidence of the fault must be available for our evaluation. We reserve the right to reject your claim if the item has been disposed of prior to claim approval. Compensation for claims is limited to credit, replacement, or a refund for the item(s). We may request items be returned for inspection to determine claim eligibility.

    Decorative Structures: Claims for faulty decorative structures must be made within 7 days of delivery. As outlined in our terms, our decorative structures are subject to slight imperfections. We reserve the right to refuse claims for goods that have slight imperfections and/or damage due to transport. Evidence of the fault must be available for our evaluation. We may reject your claim if the item has been disposed of prior to claim approval. We may request items be returned for inspection to determine claim eligibility. Compensation for delivery costs is at our discretion; however, we cannot guarantee compensation.

    Equipment: Claims for equipment must be made within the 12-month warranty. You will be required to send the equipment back to us for inspection. Freight costs will be reimbursed once the item has been deemed to have a manufacturing defect. Freight costs will not be reimbursed if the item is found to have been mishandled or misused, resulting in a fault and/or if no fault is present. Please note that Bash Buddy will not supply replacement equipment during your inspection period. If equipment is required during this time, then you will need to source a replacement separately. Equipment that can be repaired will be subsequently repaired and returned to you; the item(s) are not eligible for compensation if repair is applicable. Once deemed to have a manufacturing defect that is faulty beyond repair, Bash Buddy will offer a replacement item if stock is available on hand; otherwise, a store credit or refund will be applied.

  • How do I make a return?

    To make a claim for faulty or damaged goods, please contact us via support@bashbuddy.com with the following details:

    • Order number / Invoice number
    • Details of the specific item(s) you are making a claim for
    • Images and/or videos of the damage
    • A detailed description of the fault.

Shipping

  • Where does Bash Buddy ship to?

    We currently ship everywhere in Australia, New Zealand, and India.

  • When will I receive my order?

    All orders have a 1-4 business day processing time at our warehouse before they hit the road. Once your order leaves our warehouse, how long it takes to deliver depends on your shipping method selected at checkout. If you choose our express shipping option, your order will arrive within 2-4 business days, depending on your location.

    Our warehouse team takes a much-deserved break on weekends and federal holidays, so orders placed on those days will be shipped the following business day.

    Occasional delays may occur with our courier services. While Bash Buddy cannot be held responsible for these delays, we want to assure you that we do not guarantee specific delivery dates or time frames; the dates provided are estimates. If your parcel is taking longer than anticipated, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Can I cancel or change my order once I've placed it?

    Our team works diligently to ensure your order is swiftly processed for shipment. If you wish to cancel your order, you have a 30-minute window from the time of checkout to do so. Should you be within this timeframe, you can easily locate your order here to initiate the cancellation.

    If you happen to miss the cancellation window but need to modify the shipping address, kindly reach out to us here, and we’ll do our best to assist you. In the event that you’re considering a different product and have travel plans, we recommend placing a new order for the preferred color or size. Subsequently, we can help facilitate the return of the original order once it reaches you.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    We aim to make your shopping experience seamless and transparent, including our shipping costs. Please find the details below:

    For orders below 5kg, a flat shipping rate of $16.50 applies for delivery anywhere in Australia. However, for orders exceeding 5kg, additional shipping costs will be calculated based on the total weight of your items.

    Our flat-rate shipping ensures clarity during checkout, offering you a consistent cost for orders below 5kg. This straightforward approach allows you to know the shipping expense in advance, regardless of your location.

    To determine the shipping cost for your order, proceed to the checkout page. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated based on the weight of your items. For orders above 5kg, the additional shipping cost will be displayed.
